Race Schedule

Saturday March 25th (evening race)

  • Packet Pickup opens at 1:30pm and will close at 3:00pm
  • Shirt exchange will begin at 3:05pm
  • This race will start in small waves, every few minutes to spread people out on the course and keep the bartenders happy with us.
    • First wave start at 3:00pm
  • Awards will begin at 3:45pm.  If you are in contention for an overall or age group award, please plan to start in the earlier waves

Is it a run? Is it a party? It’s a little of both actually!  It’s Shot in the Dark… so it’s whatever you want it to be! Oh, and yes you can walk.  Celebrate an otherwise boring Saturday afternoon and make it a Happy Hour! Come join us for the 4th annual SHOT in the Dark 5K…a LIMITED event for just the cool kids! (note: everyone has to be  21+ (no children, no strollers) so make sure you don’t delay to get your spot to the party!  

  • Shot in the Dark Finisher Flask Medal presented to all registered participants at the finish line, the unique 8oz flask in a beautiful matte gold finish on the Shot in the Dark sublimated ribbon
  • Your Elijah Craig bourbon will be poured for you at the finish line in a custom branded shot glass that you will take home after the race. (** please note that shot glasses are NOT dishwasher safe**)
  • Optional super soft race shirts available to add to your registration:
    • Unisex short sleeve triblend tee in black, sizes S – 3X
    • Bella Flowy Racerback Tank in maroon, sizes S – 2X

Overall and Aged Group Awards

All FINISHERS will receive the Shot in the Dark flask finisher medal. (This is a live event only – we do not host virtual events) 

Awards will be presented to the overall Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female runners.

Our “Aged Group” Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Top 3 male and female in the following aged groups: 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
  • Please check your results and plan to pick up your Aged Group award at the awards table before you leave.
  • Note: Aged groups may be added or deleted depending on the number of racers in each category.
